China

Valerie got to go on a recent business trip to China and India.
Both were fascinating.
Here are some photos from the China leg.
Flying over the Netherlands, the tulip fields were covered in snow
Flying over Siberia
Flying into Beijing, hoping for a glimpse of the Great Wall, but just great mountain views and haze.
One of many wonderful meals, with colleaguesDetails from the Forbidden City

It has been an unusually cold winter in China; the coldest in 50 years, they say. Most of the snow had melted when I was there, but not the ice on the ponds. So people were out ice skating and riding these little contraptions on the ice.
