Following our trip to Europe, Britt and Addison went for a 4-day hiking trip to the Cordillera Blanca, starting from Huaraz, Peru. Valerie had to go back to work, so couldn't tag along. The hike included a guide, people doing the cooking, and burros that carried the heavy gear. There were also friendly, mostly francophile, co-hikers. The altitude there is high and vistas magnificent.
